Hitting the wall

In an effort to have more things in common Jamie and I have taken up rock climbing, Since rollerblading didn't work out for us. (I am now one of those people who when we move say 'Oh that's right we have Rollerblades!')

So we went to climb a wall, with ropes of course. When i got halfway up it turns out that I am afraid of heights and started shaking and a little bit of pee came out and I only went all the way to the top because of my stupid pride.

And then when Jamie was going up he kept on looking down and saying don't drop me, to which I said 'I haven't spend 6 months planning a wedding for your face to be ruined for photos.' And not to get technical on you but if you don't descend with enough rope it gives the person holding the rope a gigantic wedgie. And that's what Jamie dis to me so although we will be getting married, children at this stage is looking unlikely.

And we were with this other couple who where also learning and the guy went straight to the top first try in like 2.3 seconds and the girl was really good. And I said to Jamie 'They are better than us.' and he said 'It's not a competition.' And then I said 'everything is a competition, life is a competition get used to it.' This didn't motivate him at all and then we lost.

So we are going again on Sunday to practice Jamie wants to buy some special shoes but I said to hold off. I don't want to make the same Rollerblade mistake Ala 2006.
