After incredibly poor planning we had no news years plans the day before new years and yes I know we live in one of the most exciting cities in the world and all sorts of interesting stuff was going on but I was tired and a bit bored with myself. So we went out for a dinner at a lovely Chinese and the drinks were cheap the cocktails were okay but the best bit was that we all got a hat. See pictures below. And they were all different. I didn’t take a picture of Jamie’s because it was boring but I didn’t tell him that.
And then when the clock struck 12:00 we were on our way home on the tube and the driver said Happy new year to us, not unsurprisingly we had the carriage to ourselves so we played some tunes on my iPod (Color me Badd) and Emily and Mike got down with it. And we had party poppers! Well I didn’t I had already popped mine in the restaurant I am impatient like that.
I have kept my hat for next new years. Maybe not even next new years, I think I can wear it on any occasion.
